Interactive Metronome (IM) was developed in the early 1990s and is used to help children with learning and developmental disorders as well as adult neuro rehabilitation patients. IM is a neuro-motor assessment & treatment tool used in therapy to improve the neurological processes of motor planning and sequencing.  Motor planning and sequencing are central to human activity. From the coordinated movements needed to walk, to the order of words in a sentence, planning and sequencing are critical to efficient human function.

Earobics is widely considered to be one of the most validated and quantifiable reading intervention programs.  Independent industry reviewers, including the Florida Center for Reading Research (FCRR), confirm these findings. Earobics was among the select few programs in the supplemental, intervention, and technology-based program categories to achieve the FCRR’s highest ranking in all five reading areas.

Our programs stimulate basic sensory functions related to learning and are recognized as being effective on the symptoms of dyslexia, hyperlexia, autism, and learning difficulties in general.

Lindamood Phoneme Sequencing® by Patricia Lindamood and Phyllis Lindamood stimulates phonemic awareness for reading, spelling, and speech and develops cognitive processes related to word attack, and phonological processing.

Seeing Stars® by Nanci Bell develops symbol imagery for reading fluency and spelling. Stimulates cognitive processes related to sight word formation, contextual fluency, phonetic processing, and visual memory. Aligns with the Dual Coding Theory - the integration of imagery and language.

The Handwriting Without Tears® program (HWT) is an award-winning handwriting curriculum that has helped millions of children develop school readiness skills and succeed in handwriting.  When used in conjunction with a therapist the effectiveness of the program escalates at a rapid pace.  Any additional issues can be addressed quickly so that issues will not hamper a beneficial outcome.  Children will enjoy the almost play-like aspects of this tried and true program.

The Fast ForWord program develops brain processing efficiency through intensive, adaptive exercises. The Fast ForWord program develops and strengthens memory, attention, processing rate, and sequencing the cognitive skills essential for learning and reading success. The strengthening of these skills results in a wide range of improved critical language and reading skills such as phonological awareness, phonemic awareness, fluency, vocabulary, comprehension, decoding, working memory, syntax, grammar, and other skills necessary to learn how to read or to become a better reader.

PROMPT's multidimensional approach to speech production disorders embraces not only the well known physical-             sensory aspects of motor performance, but also its cognitive-linguistic and social-emotional aspects.  PROMPT is about       integrating all domains and systems towards positive communication outcome. It may be used (with varying intensity         and   focus) with all speech production disorders from approximately 6 months of age onward.

NDT is a problem-solving approach to the examination and treatment of the impairments and functional limitations of individuals with neuropathology, primarily children with CP and adults with stroke or traumatic brain injury (TBI). These     individuals have dysfunction in posture and movement that lead to limitations in functional activity NDT focuses on the       analysis and treatment of sensorimotor impairments and functional limitations that physical therapists (PT), occupational   therapists (OT), and speech and language pathologists (SLP) can address.Click here to add text.
